Sandra L C Cade is an emerging visual artist, working primarily in mixed media, with a particular commitment to book arts creation as spiritual healing. She is also an accomplished vocalist & theatre artist, having performed in numerous dramatic and musical productions over four decades. She was born May 30, 1946 in Chicago, has lived and taught in rural, suburban, and urban areas, and traveled throughout the U.S., in Spain, France, the Caribbean, South America, and Mexico. She currently lives and works in Lansing MI.

Education

Studied Visual Arts under: Jesse White, Jennifer Elam, and Jim Ferguson

Studied  Vocal and Dramatic Arts under: Marco Guzmán, Ian Morton, Oscar Roth, Jerald Stone, and Earl Bickel

Studied for a Career in K-16 Education: B.A. in Spanish & French, M.A.T. in Language Acquisition, Ph.D. in Education Policy and Curriculum & Instruction
