Guest Artists Mey Hasbrook and Sandra L C Cade lead members of HSDCI’s 2014-15 cohort through an exploration of how to define “success”.  Positive responses from both faculty and students led to the award of a Heart of Student Success Grant for Fall 2015.

Joined by volunteer LCC art students and faculty, Mey & Sandra will provides the means for HSDCI students to create projects for Emergence: Outside the Box.  MICA Gallery (http://www.micagallery.org/) will host four workshops in the northside Old Town neighborhood (http://www.iloveoldtown.org) long considered an arts destination.  A fifth workshop will focus on installation of both student and guest artist works at AA Creative Corridor (http://www.aacreativecorridor.com/) in REOTown (http://reotown.org/), Lansing’s southside arts-focused neighborhood.
